How does the Micro-Drop Bait Boat carry so much bait even
though it's the smallest bait boat on the market?
We
spent years developing the Micro-Drop bait boat. We developed
and tested numerous prototypes, each time profiling the
mass balance of the boat - to get the best possible carrying
functionality, coupled with the best control in the water.
Using Computer Aided Design we then also precisely calculated
the position of each component within the boat to give the
best characteristics all round - this is how and why the
Micro-Drop Bait Boat can carry so much bait and yet remain
the smallest bait boat on the market.

What is the average running time of the Micro-Drop Bait
Boat?
The
navigation lights on the boat are powered completely seperately
from the running electronics - the navigation lights will
run for months without the battery requiring charging.
The
main boat electrics will last up to 4 hours if run full-time
at full-power. As the boat is generally used to take the
bait out and return, which will take a few minutes, the
boat can be used for a whole days fishing (or even a whole
weekend) without having to be charged bankside!
If
you use the boat more than the average user, we can supply
an in-car charger for the batteries that can be used bankside.
We also supply spare batteries which can be charged in advance
and taken with you, then simply swapped in a matter of seconds.

What is the operating range of the Micro-Drop Bait Boat?
The
Micro-Drop Bait Boat, when fitted high-power long range
aerial system, gives an operating range of up to 400 metres
- which in our testing, is further than you will be able
to see!
With
the right Electronic Speed Controller installed the Micro-Drop
Bait Boat will also have a built in fail-safe system meaning
if the boat does ever reach the end the control zone it
will stop, rather than continue moving away at the same
speed!

4.
What does "Visible Variable Release Hopper System"
mean?
This
unique Variable Release means the Micro-Drop Bait Boat can
either trickle-feed the bait as and when you like - rather
than just dumping all the bait at once (although you can
dump the bait as you like). This release system is controlled
by a variable lever on the radio transmitter so you are
in complete control of how much bait is delivered and when.
We've
called it the "Visible" system as you can see
how much bait you are delivering, and how much bait is still
remaining. Other boats on the market hold the bait where
you can't see it, which doesn't allow you to see how much
you've delivered or how much is left - which in turn causes
over or under feeding.

What tools, skills and time do I need to complete my Micro-Drop
Bait Boat Hull Kit?
You
will need the following tools to complete the kit:

- Various common screwdrivers
- Junior Hacksaw
- General purpose drill set
- Black silicon sealant
The
kit requires basic model-making skills to complete - and
we are always available for help and advice throughout your
build. We estimate it should take somewhere around 10 hours
to complete your kit build.

to ensure safe and insured delivery direct to you. Smaller
items such as parts and accessories may be sent via regular
mail so we can pass the delivery savings onto you.

48 hours of an order being placed.
- Any
item marked with a delay timescale (e.g. "Available
in 5 days") is due back in stock imminently and can
still be purchased - please be aware this is an estimated

This guarantee does not cover accessories supplied with

correctly - Micro-Drop Technologies Ltd cannot be held responsible
for parts damaged through misuse.
